Lets Think Green

My mom wastes so much money on gas, being that she lives two hours away its hard to avoid it. but i convinced her to walk or bike ride to the store and park just save gas. i also asked to buy used items so the unnessary materials used. we dont have to re use. Iexplained to her that there are many websites were she can get almost new but used items. We should try to going to garage sales and goodwill to pick up things. we could make gifts and make homemade wrapping paper. she laughed but i explained to he how much better it would be. Dr. Smith says he does not use plastic water bottles, he uses a glass one which is so much better. I live in the city but my mom doesnt. We could always go to a market where fresh products are grown, it may cowst more but the quality is way better. and the farmer get the profits.

In my house Sunday is cleaning day, we pretty much have that area covered. We rarely by cleaning supplys. We try to use whats already in our home. And add one meatless meal per week. Vegetarianism isn’t for everyone, even the most devout carnivores can cut back on meat without changing their style of eating—and save money in the process. Meat requires huge energy inputs and creates waste problems. The factory farms is damaging the environment, and the global nature of the industry creates conditions that promote the spread of diseases such as avian flu or so i read
