Professors should be more understanding. People go through alot of this in life. Between work, kids and other things it is some times hard to juggle things.
I am not saying they should every excuse go but they should consider the sacrfices people make just to continue education. I feel if the person is TRYING to be an ideal student. The professor should help them be all they can be.
i know personally i too go through things and i am trying to make ends meet and trying to get an education, but sometimes it is hard. Although i know life is not easy. People need other people to help them out or givem a little push , just to make it seem like things are.
I personally love school. and would do anything to succeed. but i too need a helping. i dont think anyone made it far in life alone. Everyone need that steping stool to reach that goal

Your professors were students too--and for a very long time. I think most professors (at LAGCC at least) do understand that our students' have complicated lives (jobs, babies, and etc.) and they all chose to teach at LAGCC in order to help those students. Unlike HS teachers, though, College Profs tend to help those who help themselves. That can seem harsh at first.
